Ocie Burton III

Mr. Ocie Burton II, was a child prodigy entrepreneur, born and lived in Highland Park, Michigan (a city built by Henry Ford, much of his life. At 19 years Burton Enterprises was born in September 1975. In 1976 Mr. Burton ran for an "at large" school board seat losting by only 21 votes. Mr. Burton became an entertainment promoter from 1980 - 1991 handling acts in the music capital Detroit, Michigan promoting performances such as  Ray Charles, Alicia Myers formerly (Al Hudson & One Way), The Dramatics and Mr. L.J. Reynolds.

In 1991 Mr. Burton established two locations for Heritage CD & Videotapes,  in upstate NY. His innovative sales / marketing strategies improved viewer savings and business profits.

In 1994 Mr. Burton moved to Birmingham, AL He created ICS Communications selling cell phones as an authorized Sprint dealership.

Mr. Burton assisted in the development of a Skill Center for Youth and later  the established of  the nation's first Youth Entrepreneurship Training program, Y.E.T. for middle school - highschool students. which l;ater became Youth & Family Academic Entrepreneurship Training Program; KidShopYET.org

Mr. Burton lose the for City of Birmingham 8 the District City 1999. He decided to moved to Las Vegas became an investor in serveral business ventures and trained owners to develop strategies to increase business i.e. Shop & Save; Body & Soul and others.  Mr. Burton eventually got back involved with his KidShop - Y.E.T. Program and wrote a curriculum to expand it for all ages. 


The unique application of KidShopYET.org is teaching youth math by using currency and management training the business development beginning with START - UP, MANAGEMENT, OPERATIONS, ADVERTISING / MARKETING & PROMOTION.
